Why couples might love it

Being tethered means you move as a pair: one anchors the thread while the other swings across a gap or climbs a wall. Most puzzles come down to timing that handoff.

If one of you gets stuck, the two Yarnys can merge so the more confident player carries both through a tricky section. That makes it work for mixed skill levels.

What you actually do together

  • Swing, climb and rappel on your shared thread
  • Solve physics puzzles in Scandinavian landscapes
  • Merge into one Yarny when someone needs a break

Best for

  • A weekend game you can actually finish
  • Partners who like scenery
  • Couples with different skill levels

Things to know before playing

  • Local co-op only. You need to be on the same couch.
  • Around 6–8 hours for the main story.
  • A few later levels get tense, but checkpoints are frequent.

Our verdict

A short, well-made co-op platformer. Not deep, but a good choice for a rainy weekend.
